On Saturday, May 14, 2022, at approximately 11:50 p.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Summit Metro Crash Response Team responded to a crash that occurred near the intersection of South Arlington Road and Moore Road in the City of Green. A 56-year-old male had been driving a 2020 Harley Davidson southbound on South Arlington Road when his motorcycle ran off of the right side of the roadway and struck a street sign. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. It was determined the rider was wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Summit Metro Crash Response Team. The roadway was closed for approximately three hours.
