Summit County Sheriff’s Office PRESS RELEASE Missing Child Located

On Saturday June 11, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., The Summit County Sheriff’s Office Patrol and Detective Bureau responded to Twinsburg Township for a report of a missing eight year old boy. The child was last seen playing in the front yard of his residence and left on his scooter. Missing Child Alerts were broadcasted to residents. Local businesses, streets, residences, and wooded areas were canvased by responding units.  The Twinsburg Police Department responded and provided assistance with a drone.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., the child was spotted by a citizen in the City of Twinsburg.  Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded and located the child crossing the roadway at the 2300 block of East Aurora Road in the City of Twinsburg. Proper notifications were made and the child was returned home safely.
