This past weekend on February 4th, six girls and two boys for Nordonia High School competed in the Junior Varsity Swimming Championships held at Canton McKinley High School. The Knights had two swimmers make the podium as Emma Dutter finished 7th in the 200 freestyle and Mimi Hover finished 6th in the 200 Individual Medley.
Coach Yorkievitz was very proud of his swimmers stating, “this is always such a great event to have some of our less experienced swimmers finish the season with and they all swam extremely well. Emma has worked hard throughout her high school career and seeing her medal on her last meet of her competitive career was special.” The rest of the Knights Swimming and Diving team will compete in the Sectional Tournament this Saturday February 11th at Akron University.
