The Lady Knights soccer team swept a pair of games this week. The team beat Hudson HS 3-1 on Wednesday. Scoring for the Knights were Noelle Dubnicka, Ava Kolletis and Maddie Wasielewski. The defense was lead by Seniors Megan Abate, Campbell McFerren, McKenna Kovach and Athena Kolettis. Goalkeeper Summer Satterfield made 6 saves, 2 on breakaways, to help preserve the win.
The Lady Knights traveled to North Canton Hoover and had their first clean sheet of the year winning 3-0. Scoring for the Lady Knights were Brooklynn Johnson and Noelle Dubnicka (2 goals). Dubnicka’s second goal came off of a beautiful assist from Addison Francis. Seniors Athena Kolettis, Gabrielle DeMarco, Megan Abate, Campbell McFerren and McKenna Kovach helped Summer Satterfield record her first shutout as a Knight! The team travels to Stow HS for an important conference game on Wednesday and hosts Painesville Riverside on Saturday, October 2nd.
