The Lady Knights ran into one of the areas perennially strong teams on Saturday in St. Joseph’s Academy. The Lady Jaguars scored the first two goals and led 2-0 at the half. The Lady Knights fought back with an early second half goal by Addison Francis. *Megan Abate served a perfect pass off of a quick restart to Francis who beat the keeper with a strike to the far post. The next 15 minutes belonged to the Knights as they had plenty of chances to even the score but unfortunately came up short. The young Lady Knights gained valuable experience from the game and are poised to start making some noise soon. They face another strong opponent in Madison HS on August 25th at home. Game times are 5/7:00pm.
