On the November 3rd General Election ballot, the Township will be seeking renewal of the 1.40 mill levy used for general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in the Township. This levy will generate over $220,000 in dedicated revenue annually, which is nearly 50% of the Service Department’s total annual budget. These funds are utilized to pay for a variety of vital maintenance and repair activities, including the recently completed Springwood and Natalie Road Re-Construction Project.  It is important to keep in mind that, as a renewal levy, passage of this important ballot issue WILL NOT INCREASE TAXES FOR THE TOWNSHIP’S HOUSEHOLDS. Â
