Twinsburg Library Trustee Retiring

Walter Hoffmann has decided to retire as a trustee of the Twinsburg Public Library Board after 35 years of service. Walt joined the Board in 1989 replacing Charles Crouse. He was instrumental in expanding the Library’s relationship with the Reminderville community and brought his expertise in education and administration to the table throughout his tenure when serving on the Building and Grounds, Personnel, and Finance Committees. He is especially proud of the establishment of the bookmobile visits to Reminderville’s Heritage Hall. His service on the Board will be missed, but we know his library advocacy and volunteerism will continue.
Filling Walt’s seat on the Board is Becki Kovach. She brings a wealth of knowledge in finance, administration, and local governance gained while working as the Mayor’s Executive Assistant and Finance and Administrative Supervisor for the City of Pepper Pike. She has also been a Councilmember for the City of Reminderville for the past seven years. Welcome aboard, Becki!
* Library trustees are nominated by the Library’s Board of Trustees and appointed by the Board of Education of the Twinsburg City School District.
