Twinsburg Varsity Tigers Falls To The Valley

Twinsburg Varsity Tigers fell to The Valley 4-0 on Thursday at Bob Cene Park in a District Final game.

The Valley opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. The Valley first got on the board when Bobby Berglund singled, scoring one run.

Lucas Tinter started the game for Twinsburg Varsity Tigers. The righty allowed nine hits and four runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out two and walking none. Aaron Moss started on the mound for The Valley. The hurler allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking none.

Number eight hitter, Aiden Shinada, showed the depth of Twinsburg Varsity Tigers’s lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Twinsburg Varsity Tigers turned two double plays in the game.

The Valley tallied nine hits in the game. Deacon Nelson led The Valley with three hits in three at bats. Berglund and Miles Wolf each drove in one run for The Valley. Tucker Greer collected two hits for The Valley in three at bats.
