Twinsburg Varsity Tigers fell to Strongsville 5-1 on Saturday at Dodge Intermediate School.
A passed ball put Strongsville on the board in the top of the second.
Strongsville added one run in the third after #6 doubled down the right field line.
#7 earned the win for Strongsville. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking three. Jeff Klominek took the loss for Twinsburg Varsity Tigers. The pitcher went three innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits, striking out four and walking three.
Martwon Shannon and Bobby Lemieux each collected one hit for Twinsburg Varsity Tigers. Twinsburg Varsity Tigers turned one double play in the game.
#3 and #6 each drove in one run for Strongsville. #6 led Strongsville with two hits in four at bats.
Twinsburg Varsity Tigers will travel to Kenston Varsity Bombers for their next game on Monday.
