Village of Northfield Police Patrolman Position Wanted

The Village of Northfield is seeking candidates for the position of full-time Police Patrol Officer. The pay rate for the position is $26.51/hr. to $32.52/hr. depending on experience. Applications for lateral transfers are welcome. Candidates are required to be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and current OPOTA certification. If you are certified as an officer out of state, you must be able to obtain OPOTA certification within 6 months. Candidates must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of physical fitness, the ability to read and speak English fluently, vision that is correctable to 20/20 with no color blindness, and no convictions for a felony, domestic violence, or crime of moral turpitude.
