We buried a true hero yesterday, my friend and mentor N. Arch Milani. I got to know him and his family after serving on Northfield Village Council together and then through the VFW and American Legion. A man’s man, he didn’t suffer fools. Yet he kept a sense of humor about things as we commiserated about politics and politicians. His son Victor later succeeded him as Village Mayor.
Rest in Peace Staff Sergeant Milani.
