Nordonia Knights Varsity pulled away for good with one run in the second inning. In the second Becker’s sac fly scored one run for Nordonia Knights Varsity. Nordonia Knights Varsity scored six runs in the fifth inning. Nordonia Knights Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Cornett, Becker, Majoros, and Maciejowski, all driving in runs in the inning. Cornett led things off on the rubber for Nordonia Knights Varsity. She went six innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out two and walking one. #17 was on the mound for Hudson. She went four and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on ten hits and striking out five. #33 threw one inning in relief. Nordonia Knights Varsity tallied three home runs on the day. Maciejowski put one out in the fifth inning. Jenn Willis had a long ball in the third inning. Majoros went yard in the fifth inning. Nordonia Knights Varsity collected 13 hits on the day. Willis, Jordyn Dean, Kayla Buck, and Majoros all managed multiple hits for Nordonia Knights Varsity. Dean and Willis each managed three hits to lead Nordonia Knights Varsity. #9 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hudson in hits.
