She had to have her leg amputated due to an infection caused by strep throat and the flu.
Tessa did great in surgery today! Her grafts took to her beautifully and she will be on the road to recovery now! She will however go under anesthesia on Monday for a dressing change. Then he is hoping Wednesday she can go under light sedation in the burns unit for future dressing changes. They are changing her pain meds out today into something stronger so hopefully that works for her. Thank you all for your continued prayers, love and support!
