At their January 9, 209 Post Meeting, Twinsburg resident Thomas Deegan will be the guest speaker at Nordonia Hills American Legion Post 801. They meet at Summit Point, 9633 Valley View Rd. (next to the Macedonia Fire Station), Macedonia, Ohio. at 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Deegan, an F-86 Sabre Jet memorabilia collector and enthusiast, will talk about the history of this iconic aircraft flown during the Korean War. His lifelong passion for the jet led to his acceptance into the exclusive F-86 Sabre Jet Pilot Association. As Captain Loren V. Stump, USAF, (ret) said to Deegan, “You know more about them than I do, and I flew them.”
