The Macedonia Commons, built back in 1994, may have a new owner sooner, than later. The 604,000 square foot complex has been rumored to be in the process of being sold by current owners, DDR of Beachwood. DDR recently sold it’s Barrington Square (Aurora) Plaza for $13.1 million dollars. Another DDR shopping center in Boardman is also being bantered as being on the selling block. Eight years ago DDR owned or managed over 700 plaza parcels. They have since cut their ownership back to 300. This transaction has not been finalized or confirmed by Macedonia officials, or the rumored buyer. Nordonia Hills.News will be following this important story.
