New Nordonia Teachers 2017 – 2018

Jason Lara, Anthony Dietrich, Jenna Huff, Kelli Hunter, Kathy Payne, Sarah Putka and Keith Terlonge.

Jason Lara is a new Intervention Specialist at the High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at Kent State and his Master’s Degree at Kent State. He had previously worked in the Newton Falls and Cuyahoga Falls school districts. He will be coaching wrestling at the High School.

Anthony Dietrich is a new teacher at Lee Eaton. He will be teaching 6th grade Social Studies/ Language Arts. He received his Bachelor’s degree at Kent State University and his Master’s Degree at Ashland University. He had previously worked the Independence, Gilmour Academy, Black River and Maple Hts school districts.

Jenna Huff is a new Intervention Specialist at the high school. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Findlay. She is a Nordonia Alumni.

Kelli Hunter is a new Intervention Specialist assigned to Lee Eaton. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University and has worked in the Poland Local Schools – which is in the Youngstown area.

Sarah Putka is a new 5th grade Intervention Specialist at Lee Eaton. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University and has worked at Dover City Schools and Alexander Local Schools.

Kathy Payne is a new 6th grade Intervention Specialist at Lee Eaton. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University and her Masters’s Degree from Northeastern Illinois University. He had previously worked at the LaGrange school district 102.

Keith Terlonge is a new High School Counselor. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Wooster and his Master’s Degree from the University of Akron.

Jacklyn Czekaj is a new 9th grade College Prep and Honors English teacher. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron and a Master’s Degree from Kent State University.

Anthony DiBacco is a new Intervention Specialist at Lee Eaton. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron. He is also a Nordonia Alumni.

John Vanderhoff is the Assistant Band Director and Lee Eaton Instrumental Music. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University. He is a former member of The OSU Marching Band.
