Here’s a list of the new repairs beginning within the surrounding area.
New Repairs
State Route 8 in the City of Cuyahoga Falls
(Tuesday, September 5 – until further notice)
Beginning Tuesday evening, September 5, SR 8 between Graham Rd. and Howe Ave. will have various nightly ramp closures between the hours of 9 pm and 5 am for resurfacing. All detours will be posted.

SR 8 between Howe Ave. and Graham Rd. has various daily and nightly lane restrictions for milling and resurfacing. These restrictions will occur between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This work is part of a $4.6 million project to resurface SR 8 between Howe Rd. and Graham Rd., SR 303 from east of Chittenden Rd. to Olde 8 and on SR 261 from just west of SR 8 to N. Main St. The project also includes miscellaneous bridge repairs. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by October 2017.
Interstate 271 in Richfield Township and the Village of Richfield
(until further notice)
Southern Rd. over I-271 is reduced to one lane with traffic maintained by a temporary signal for bridge painting. This restriction will remain in place through mid-September.

I-271 between the Medina County line and Brecksville Rd. has various lane restrictions during non-peak hours for bridge painting. This work is part of a $1.9 million project to make bridge repairs to the Medina Line Rd., Southern Rd. and Everett Rd. bridges over I-271. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September 2017.
Interstate 271 in Richfield Village & Richfield Township
(Wednesday, September 6 – Saturday, September 9)
Beginning Wednesday, September 6 and continuing through Saturday, September 9, various ramps at the Brecksville Rd. and SR 303 interchanges with I-271 will have short term closures lasting no longer than four hours for resurfacing. All detours will be posted.

I-271 from just north of the Medina County line to the Ohio Turnpike has various daily lane restrictions for resurfacing. This work is part of a $46.4 million project to reconstruct the pavement along I-271 from Broadview Rd. to the Ohio Turnpike. Then entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September 2017.
Interstate 271 in Boston Township
(Tuesday, September 5 – Saturday, September 9)
Beginning Tuesday, September 5, the I-271 bridge over the Cuyahoga River will have various lane restrictions for bridge sealing through Saturday, September 9. This work is part of a $2 million project to seal various bridges in Ashtabula, Mahoning, Stark, Summit and Trumbull Counties. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by September 2018.
