Local ODOT Repairs as of September 22nd – New Repairs Only

Here’s a list of the new repairs beginning within the surrounding area.

New Repairs

State Route 8 in the City of Cuyahoga Falls
(Fridays, September 22 – Saturday, September 23)
Beginning Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m., the ramp from SR 8 southbound to Second St. will be closed through Saturday morning, September 23 at 2 a.m. for overhead sign installation. A detour will be posted.

SR 8 between Graham Rd. and Howe Ave. will have various nightly ramp closures between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for resurfacing through late September. All detours will be posted.

SR 8 between Howe Ave. and Graham Rd. has various daily and nightly lane restrictions for milling and resurfacing. These restrictions will occur between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This work is part of a $4.6 million project to resurface SR 8 between Howe Rd. and Graham Rd., SR 303 from east of Chittenden Rd. to Olde 8 and on SR 261 from just west of SR 8 to N. Main St. The project also includes miscellaneous bridge repairs. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by October 2017.

Interstate 271 in Richfield Township and the Village of Richfield

Everett Rd. over I-271 is reduced to one lane with traffic maintained by a temporary signal for bridge painting. This restriction will remain in place through early October.

Southern Rd. over I-271 is reduced to one lane with traffic maintained by a temporary signal for bridge painting. This restriction will remain in place through late September.

I-271 between the Medina County line and Brecksville Rd. has various lane restrictions during non-peak hours for bridge painting. This work is part of a $1.9 million project to make bridge repairs to the Medina Line Rd., Southern Rd. and Everett Rd. bridges over I-271. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by early October 2017.
