John S. Robson, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, after 12 years with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Beloved husband for 51 years of Marcia L. (nee Thornton); loving father ofJennifer L. Barr (Jeremie) and Brian S. Robson (Krystel); cherished grandfather of the late Matthew T. Barr; Darren and Avery Barr, and Madelyn and Violet Robson; dearest son of the late N. Johnson Company in 1977, eventually serving as owner/CEO and retired in 2012.

John gave 100% to the three most important things in his life: family, golf and work.  He loved being surrounded by family and was an excellent golfer.  He loved being outside – camping, Keewaydin, snow skiing, and walking on the beach on Sanibel Island.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, was a good listener and a true gentleman.  So many things come to mind as we remember John…fun family memories at Canterbury Golf Club, fishing and dining at The Trout Club, “Robson Rules”, dinner at Panera with our Alzheimer’s friends, and ice cream at Mitchell’s (or anywhere…he really loved ice cream).
