ROBERT C. SABOL; 71, Beloved husband of Ruth A. (Nee Sepik); Loving father of Lisa Riggio (Scott), Robyn Sabol and Robert Sabol; Dearest brother of Joan Kawolics (Raymond), the late Ronald (Angie), James (JoAnn) and Richard; beloved brother-in-law of John Sepik, Cheryl and Reed Cernik, and Kimberly Sepik;dear uncle and great-uncle. Rob was a very proud man. He was especially proud of where he was born and raised in Cleveland (“the old neighborhood”) and the cherished friends he made there, even before grade school, and continued to be his “brothers” to this day…Dennis Suhy, Al Kabal, Clary Knapik, Ron Mihalenko, and Joe and Ron Pertz.  He was a proud graduate of Benedictine High School. He was proud of his time served in the National Guard. He was proud of the HVAC business he created at the early age of 22, and successfully ran with Ruthi for over 40 years. But most of all, he was proud of his family. Proud to be from such a loving large family: the youngest of a sister and 3 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews…proud that we all continued to gather in his mother’s memory every year for Christmas. He fiercely loved his wife and 3 children, and considered his son-in-law, Scott, to be one of his children as well. Anyone who knew Rob would say he had the best sense of humor, loved his sports, playing softball for years with all those buddies he made so early on, and he loved his Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians! Rob loved to have fun, and loved his music, especially Motown! Some of our favorite memories of him are playing his favorite songs and listening to him sing along. He worked so hard both in his career and personal life. If you needed something fixed, he could do it! And he enjoyed every minute of it. Anyone who knew Rob would say he wasn’t born with a rattle in his hand, it was a wrench! He will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing him.
