After Nordonia Knights Varsity scored three runs in the top of the third, Willoughby South answered with three of their own. Nordonia Knights Varsity scored when Carmella Hackdoubled on a 3-1 count, scoring three runs. Willoughby South then answered when Woolough doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Heckman singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Richter got the start for Willoughby South. The fireballer lasted two innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out one and walking zero.
Grace Daniels was on the rubber for Nordonia Knights Varsity. The pitcher went three innings, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out one and walking zero. Laney Wilhelmthrew five and a third innings in relief.
