Grocery delivery driver brings one item too many – his car.
Police were called to the 1020 block of Riverview Drive September 11, shortly before 4:45 p.m. when a delivery driver’s car ended up moving from its spot crunching into several items in a garage.
The resident told police his wife had ordered an item the previous day.
When the driver arrived he delivered the item to the front door.
However, the wife heard a “loud noise. “
When she looked outside she saw the delivery driver “run into their garage where his car was now located.”
They believe the driver got out and left his car in drive, the car rolled forward into the open garage hitting shelves and the back wall of the garage causing significant damage.
After the driver left the wife took pictures and attempted to contact the driver.
The husband was advised by the company to send an email detailing the incident.
After almost 10 days there has been no contact.
Police are closing the case.
