CLEVELAND (October 26, 2021) – As rock & roll legends join to celebrate the 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, author, Âmedia personality and actor Bevy Smith will host the star-studded Red Carpet to bring fans interviews with Inductees, presenters, performers and special guests, and behind-the-scenes content. The Red Carpet will live stream on Saturday, October 30th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST on the Rock Hall’s YouTube channel.
The Ceremony honors this year’s Inductees: Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go-Go’s, JAY-Z, Foo Fighters, and Todd Rundgren in the Performer category, along with Kraftwerk, Charley Patton and Gil Scott-Heron for Early Influence, LL Cool J, Billy Preston and Randy Rhoads for Musical Excellence, and Clarence Avant for the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
Special guests announced to date include Angela Bassett, Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, H.E.R., Bryan Adams, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Drew Barrymore, Paul McCartney and Lionel Richie.
Bevy Smith brings her passion for music and pop culture to the live stream, along with boundless energy and witty celebrity interviews. Smith is a radio host, television personality, author and businesswoman. She is the host of Sirius XM’s Bevelations on Radio Andy (channel 102), a daily show featuring wide-ranging hot-button conversations about culture with celebrity guests like Pharrell, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Smokey Robinson, Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan, Ronnie Spector, Anderson. The Ceremony takes place on October 30th at 8 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. It will air November 20th on HBO and stream on HBO Max alongside a radio simulcast on SiriusXM.
