STEVEN W. PRUCHNICKI, age 58. Steve passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2021, while surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Loving father of Stephen and Kate, and devoted grandfather of Bryson; survived by his cherished partner of 11 years, Dina Russell, and her children, Scott, Megan (Kenny), Maria, and Stephen; adored son of the late Ada Wallace; dear brother of Richard (Johnna), Sharon Myers (Bryan) and Patricia Omar (Aly); uncle of many, and a friend to all. He is also survived by his beloved four-legged “princess puppy,” Lucy.
Throughout his life, Steve enjoyed motorcycles, racing, boating, and animals, among many other things. Steve loved to build. Over the years, Steve built cars, buildings, furniture, relationships, and countless memories. He was a member of the Indiana Kentucky Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters and worked for Donley’s, Inc., for over 15 years. Steve lived every day like it was his last, and never left his sense of humor (or thirst for competition) at home. He lit up every single room, and everyone looked forward to it.
Friends may call at THE FEROFLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD. (OH RTE 82), SAGAMORE HILLS, where a memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a brief memorial service commencing at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Oasis Animal Shelter of Oberlin, Ohio, or the ASPCA, in Steve’s memory.
