DAVID M. LENTZ age 62. Beloved husband of Brenda (Wolfe) for 32 years; loving father of Zachary, Megan (Richie Rehart), Madison, and Colton; cherished grandfather of Kalin David; dear son of Irene and the late Richard; treasured brother of Timothy (Kathryn), Thomas (Rolland Smith), Sandy Siegwald (Greg), Douglas (Lisa), James (Annette Moore) and the late Joseph. He joined the Somerset Fire Department in 1984, becoming an honorary member in 1996. Dave retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation after 30 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked at The Tractor Supply Company, and was working as a lab courier for the Cleveland Clinic until his passing. He was also a member of Somerset Sons of the American Legion. Dave gave the gift of life by being a Lifebanc donor. The Somerset Fire Department will lead a memorial drive starting at Somerset Memorial Park, where Dave coached many of his children’s baseball and softball games, and ending at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he married his beloved wife in 1989. Family and friends are invited to line up at the park starting at 2:00P.M. then celebrate Dave’s life at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the annex until 5:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Somerset Firefighters Association.
