On April 28th 1946, the Northfield charter of the Veterans of Wars was signed. We have been a staple in our community for over 75 years working diligently to serve our neighbors and most importantly our Veterans. Year after year, we have instilled our values and patriotism deeply into the roots of our community donating to our schools, safety forces, those in need, our Veterans and countless other fraternal and community organizations.
Due to the COVID restrictions in 2021, we were not able to properly celebrate the 75 years of hard work and patriotism. This year, we have teamed up with the Emergency Assistance Center and the SWAT food truck to provide a free dinner to ALL Veterans of our community regardless of wartime or peacetime status throughout the week of April 25-29th.
To receive this dinner in honor of our 75 years, please stop by our post and submit proof of Nordonia Hills residency and proof of military service. Once you have been validated, you will receive a voucher for one free meal to use during the week of April 25th-29th. The cutoff to submit paperwork and receive the voucher is April 15th.
When you place your order with SWAT online or over the phone, note the voucher number on the order to receive the credit for the free meal and bring your voucher in when you pick up so we can account for all meals. If you do not bring in the voucher, you will not receive the credit.
This endeavor would not be possible without the charitable contributions of the Emergency Assistance Center!
It has been an honor to serve you both at home and abroad!
Sincere Regards,
Clinton Ulrich
