Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Kicks Off Beatles Fan Weekend with Special Rock Hall Nights featuring Inductee Glyn Johns

The event includes a book-signing, live performances by The Mechanics, Curator talks, and more!

CLEVELAND, OH (April 4, 2022) – In celebration of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s newest exhibition, The Beatles: Get Back to Let It Bethe Museum welcomes special guest and Inductee Glyn Johns for Rock Hall Nights: The Beatles on April 7th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm.

Inductee Glyn Johns will sign copies of his new book Get Back, which are available for purchase online or in person at the Rock Hall store.

Fans are encouraged to put their Beatles knowledge to the test with trivia, hear Beatles cover performances by The Mechanics, attend curator-led gallery talks, view Beatles Induction footage, visit the café for a Beatles-themed signature drink, and enjoy a photo opportunity at the Long Live Rock art installation on the Union Home Mortgage Plaza.

Plus, fans can also stop by the SiriusXM radio studio to watch hosts Alan Light and Mark Goodman as they broadcast show, Debatable, live from The Museum.

The groundbreaking exhibit is an immersive complement to Peter Jackson’s docuseries, “The Beatles: Get Back,” and allows fans to experience The Beatles’ creative journey through original instruments, clothing, and handwritten lyrics used by The Beatles and seen in the film, including items loaned directly by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the estates of George Harrison and John Lennon.

In addition to feature high-definition film clips, audio, and custom projections, transporting fans into The Beatles’ vibrant world of January 1969, the exhibit also includes audio engineer, producer, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Glyn Johns’ record acetate from the sessions and iconic photography by Linda McCartney and by Ethan Russell, who documented the band’s January 1969 rehearsals, sessions, and rooftop performance, and whose photos are featured in the Let It Be album art.

The Museum will have extended hours on Saturday, April 9th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Rock Hall Members will have access beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Tickets for Rock Hall Nights: The Beatles are on sale at Rockhall.com for $21.00 and include exhibit entry and activities.
