Longwood Manor Status Report For May 2023

MANOR REPAIRS and TEA, ANYONE?

The roller-coaster weather these past months has not stopped progress and activities at Longwood Manor.

Kudos to John Leben and Ian Mikulski for plastering and painting the first floor dining room walls and ceiling, and Dorothy Berman for arrranging the glass showcases displays. The dining room is nearing readiness for being open to the public.

John has also done repairs to the sink in the butler’s pantry and there is now running water. Thanks to our burst of warm weather, John was able to repair the gutters and downspouts on the second floor, as well as painting on the outside of the second floor.
