JOAN LYDIA NORBUTA (nee Kochmit), age 80, gently closed her eyes for the final time in this life as she was embraced in the blessed arms of the Savior on July 3, 2023. Beloved wife of Jim; loving mother of Karen Bouscher (Shawn), Janet Shelley (Michael); step-mother of Matthew Norbuta (Kimi); grandmother of Thomas Bouscher, Frank Bouscher, Katherine Bouscher, Ben Shelley, Jon Shelley, Andrew Norbuta, Aubree Norbuta, and Ella Norbuta; great grandmother of Mohan; sister of Mary Russel, Beth Garson (Ken), and the late Debbie; aunt and great aunt of many. Joan served her community in many ways. She was very active in her church, volunteering at the Vacation Bible School, as a Brownie and Girl Scout Troop leader and as a member of the Bainbridge Women’s Club. She will be dearly missed! OR TUESDAY, JULY 11, 2023 FROM 10 – 11 A.M. Joan’s funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at church. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
