Nordonia High School’s boys golf team lost a close match to Hudson’s Highland High School on Thursday at Ellsworth Meadows GC, 154-155. Match medalist Ben Mallis led the Knights with 35, closely followed by Drew Kitzmiller with 39. Ryan Mallis shot a 41, and Caden Cook had a 35. Ryan Przybysz and Zach Butcher, who each had 37 points, were the Hornets’ top scorers. Drew Mamer came in with 39, Josh Butcher carded 41, and Luke Butcher and Nathan Sprutte shot 47 each. Nordonia Golf High School will return to action on Wednesday at the same golf ground at 2:40 PM to face Wadsworth High School.
