The Nordonia Knights High School Boys Golf team competed in the two-day Rough Rider Invitational at Windmill Lakes GC from the 8th to the 9th of the month. After the first day, Ben Mallis led with a total score of 80, followed closely by Ryan Mallis with 85. Other contributing Nordonia Knights golfers were Drew KitzMiller (88), Caden Cook (94), and Grant Lucician (97).
Olmsted Falls High School Boys Golf Team also participated in the Rough Rider Invitational. Their Varsity golfers posted front 9 scores: Sowers (37), Odon (46), Platner (44), Katitus (43), and Seymour (43). Peyton Katitus shot a 43 on the first 9. The Bulldogs had a team total of 334 after the first day.
Revere Varsity Boys Golf was led by Jack Kinder’s 1-over-par 71, with Angelo Levak contributing a 79. The team scored an impressive 325.

For St. Edward’s varsity, Jack Myslenki shot a 74, MT Polka recorded a 75, Sean Curran had an 80, Vinh Li posted an 82, and Thomas Marshall finished with an 86.
Last week, Carter Bretz of the Nordonia Junior Varsity Golf Team averaged 44.3 over three rounds, including a low round of 37. Nordonia Knights Coach Lawrence aced the 14th hole at Ellsworth Meadows golf course during the course’s Ryder Cup Event.
