WAYNE BARRINGER, age 92, of Lake Milton, OH, passed away at home on February 9, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Hegidus); loving father of Connie Semonin (Lynn), Sandy Clark (Jeff), and the late Dan Barringer (the late Ruth); dear grandfather of Charlene Valosen, Crystal Larimer (Sean), Cheri Ruttig (Joel), David Clark, Nicole Pignatiello (James), Lindsay Barringer, and the late Sean Barringer; cherished great grandfather of Mandi Mills, Mason Mills, Katie Larimer, Emily Larimer, Jamie Larimer, Andrew Ruttig, Nicholas Ruttig, and Luke Pignatiello; brother of the late Rhoda Simmons (the late Bill);
Wayne served in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic working on B-47 Bombers. He was happily married for 63 years! Retirement took him to Lake Milton where Wayne and Carol enjoyed a “summer place” all year long where he enjoyed boating. Wayne was an avid woodworker and loved his football. He loved his family and was happiest when he was spending time with them. He was loved by all.
Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILS FOR VISITATION ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2024 FROM 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wayne’s funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
