Went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2026. She was 84 years old. She was born in Louisa, Ky., and raised in Cleveland since the age of nine.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas (Anne) Bongalis, her daughter Peggy Lucas, her grandchildren, Criztill & Travis Lucas, Nicholas & Zachary Bongalis, one Great Granddaughter, Emma Bongalis and one brother, Charles (Bonnie) Tabor. She is also survived by her husband David, and his children, Faith (Chris), David (Raelynn) Dean, and grandchildren, Crystal, Heather, David, Brianna, Maria & Dionna and many great grandchildren.
Linda was a very outgoing and friendly person and was President of Astrohurst Ladies Golf League and she was a member, along with her husband, at St. Bernard Golf Club. Her favorite job was Mayor’s secretary for Orange Village and she retired from Associated Steel Company. After retirement, she enjoyed playing golf, vacationing in Florida, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never had any sisters, but cherished her special friendships with Erica, Diane, Wilma and Pam. She will always be remembered fondly by her family, friends and co-workers.
A short graveside service and burial will be held on September 25, 2026 at 1 pm at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery.
