Medical Emergency on Dovecote Trace – January 8, 2025
On Wednesday evening around 8:19 PM, officers responded to a welfare check on Dovecote Trace after receiving concerns about a resident’s wellbeing. Upon arrival, officers found the individual in significant physical discomfort and displaying concerning behavior. After assessment, officers determined the person had taken both prescribed medication and over-the-counter pain relievers. Due to their condition and inability to care for themselves at that time, they were transported to Ahuja Medical Center for medical evaluation and treatment.
Family Welfare Check Leads to Hospital Transport – January 8, 2025
In a separate incident later that evening at approximately 9:47 PM, police conducted another welfare check on Bluejay Trail after family members reported being unable to contact a resident for two days. Upon arrival, officers found concerning living conditions and determined the resident required immediate medical attention. The individual was subsequently transported to Akron General Hospital for evaluation and care.
Domestic Dispute on Redwood Court – January 9, 2025
The following morning at 7:59 AM, officers responded to a domestic dispute on Redwood Court. The incident began as a verbal disagreement between spouses regarding relationship issues. While both parties provided differing accounts of the events, officers found no visible injuries on either person. Due to insufficient evidence and conflicting statements, no immediate charges were filed. The situation was further complicated by a subsequent property dispute over vehicle access, which officers advised would need to be handled as a civil matter.
