Pepper Pike Supports Harvest for Hunger: Join the Community Effort

Pepper Pike is proud to once again participate in the annual Harvest for Hunger campaign, benefiting the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and its network of over 1,000 partners across six counties. With a city-wide fundraising goal of $10,000, this effort helps provide meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity right here in Northeast Ohio.

Many generous community members have already contributed to this important cause, and there’s still time for others to get involved. Even modest donations make a meaningful impact—especially this year.

Supporting Neighbors Facing Hunger

In 2024, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank served a record 434,000 people—including children, seniors, and working families. Rising food costs and reductions in federal and state food assistance programs, including proposed cuts to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), have increased the need for local food support.

By coming together as a community, we can help fill the gap and ensure that no one has to worry about where their next meal will come from.

Matching Gift Opportunity Doubles Your Impact

Thanks to the generosity of John Langer, President of H. Jack’s Plumbing and Heating Co., and the Cavaliers Community Foundation, all new or increased donations will be matched up to $60,000. That means your contribution will go twice as far—every dollar now provides six nutritious meals to someone in need.

This matching gift is a great opportunity to make your donation count even more.

How to Contribute

If you’d like to support Pepper Pike’s effort and help families across Northeast Ohio, you can donate directly through the Greater Cleveland Food Bank website. Contributions of any size are welcomed and appreciated.

By giving together, we make a lasting difference.
