On June 3, Macedonia Police made multiple arrests in connection with two separate retail theft incidents at Kohl’s Department Store in Macedonia Commons, recovering over $3,300 in stolen merchandise.
The first theft occurred around 5:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of five women stealing from Kohl’s. After brief foot chases, three suspects were apprehended along with their vehicle. Police recovered more than $1,000 in stolen goods during this incident.
Later that evening, during follow-up investigations, Kohl’s reported another large-scale theft involving three different women. Officers positioned themselves strategically and arrested the suspects without incident as they tried to leave the store. Over $2,300 in stolen merchandise was recovered.
Macedonia Police praised the strong partnership with local retailers and emphasized how quick reporting helped law enforcement respond promptly to these retail theft cases.
