Longwood Manor Historical Society Hosts Fourth Annual Rummage Sale

Two-weekend event supports historic home restoration

The Longwood Manor Historical Society will host its fourth annual rummage sale across two weekends in August at the historic property on East Aurora Road in Macedonia.

The sale runs Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8-9, and Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22-23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1634 E. Aurora Road. Shoppers can find holiday items, toys, arts and crafts, artwork, dish sets, glassware, clothing and appliances.

All proceeds will benefit the restoration of Longwood Manor, the former home of Macedonia’s first mayor, Colonel William Frew Long and his wife Isabel.

The society will accept donations only during the week of Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon at the manor. Items should not be left unattended.
