Do you love spending time outdoors and have a soft spot for dogs? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to help safely and effectively remove geese from properties across Ohio. Yes, this is a real thing—and it’s more important than you might think!
Geese may look harmless, but they can cause significant problems:
- Damage: Geese can wreak havoc on properties, leading to thousands of dollars in repairs.
- Health Risks: Their droppings can spread diseases and pathogens.
- Environmental Impact: Left unchecked, geese disrupt delicate ecosystems.
How You’ll Help
Your day starts with checking your schedule, picking up one of our trained border collies, and hopping into a “goose mobile.” Once on-site, you and your canine partner will walk the property, engage with the geese as trained, and ensure they move on safely. This job provides plenty of exercise, variety, and the joy of working alongside incredible dogs.

Love Dogs? Here’s Another Way to Join Us!
In your area, we’re also looking for someone willing to board one of our trained border collies. You’d receive a monthly stipend to house the dog, while Ohio Geese Control covers all expenses like food and vet bills. On days you’re not working, someone will come to pick up the dog for its daily geese-chasing duties. This way, you get the love and affection of a border collie in your home while we ensure they get daily exercise. They make wonderful family pets in the evenings!
Of course, boarding a dog isn’t required—we’re also hiring part-time employees to work shifts chasing geese. This fun, flexible job lets you spend time outdoors and work alongside some incredible dogs.
