Case #624- Applicant 1:
Michael & Kaitlin 1050 Brookpoint Drive Macedonia, OH 44056
The Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals will hear a request for a variance at 1050 Brookpoint Drive. The variance request is to section 1171.16(d)(1)(5): privacy fences, open fences, and chain link fences are not permitted in front yards. The applicants are requesting a variance to have a fence on a corner lot.

The Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals will hear a request for a variance at 8210 Macedonia Commons Blvd. The variance request is to section 1167.04(e): the setback line for any building or structure shall be a minimum of 50 feet from the public right of way. The applicant is requesting a variance to have a setback of 30 feet. Variance was approved.

The Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals will hear a request for a variance at 8210 Macedonia Commons Blvd. The variance request is to section 1171.11(c): a minimum of four stacking spaces for each drive-thru window is required. The applicant is requesting a variance to have two stacking spaces. Variance was approved.
It was stated in the meeting that if there is enough activity at this ATM they might eventually bring a Chase Bank to this area.

The Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals will hear a request for a variance at Fairlane Drive. The variance request is to section 1167.06(a): purpose of a B-O Business Office District. The applicant is requesting a variance to have a commercial retail business within a B-O Business Office District. Use variance was approved for only a Jewelry Store.
Case #628 Applicant 3: – Don Basch Jewelers
The Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals will hear a request for a variance at Fairlane Drive. The variance request is to section 1167.06(f): every building or structure intended for office use shall have a rear and side yard width of 90 feet from the lot line adjacent to an R District. The applicant is requesting a variance of 68.5 50 feet to have a side yard setback of 21.5 feet. Variance passed with a 40 feet set back and landscaping.

The Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals will hear a request for a variance at Fairlane Drive. The variance request is to section 1167.06(j): the lot width shall be 150 feet at the setback line. The applicant is requesting a variance of 30 feet to have a lot width of 120 feet. Variance was approved.
