On October 3, 2020, at 12:00 p.m., the Summit County Christmas with a Cop Program is hosting a “Cruisin’ with a Cop” fundraiser. The proceeds will benefit the Summit County Christmas with a Cop Program which positively impacts numerous Summit County families each holiday season. Saturday’s event will consist of a police escorted motorcycle ride from Rubber City Harley Davidson to the Summit County Fairgrounds.
Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. This is an Eventbrite event. Anyone interested should search “Cruisin’ with the Cops for Kids” on the app toregister. The registration fee is $25 per rider and $15 for each passenger. The fee includes a t-shirt and lunch.
The departments participating include: the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Fairlawn Police Department, Bath Police Department, Summa Health Police Department, Copley Police Department, Akron Police Department, University of Akron Police Department, Richfield Police Department, and the Akron Children’s Hospital Police Department.
