Nordonia Green Knights 12U fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 23-2 loss to Hudson on Tuesday. Hudson scored on a double by Grill, a triple by Prucha, and a single by Lipinski in the first inning.
The Nordonia Green Knights 12U struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hudson, giving up 23 runs.
Hudson fired up the offense in the first inning, when Grill doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Hudson scored 14 runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by Hudson was led by Grill, Swegan, Cooke, Carter, Paolucci, and Salem, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Lipinski led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Hudson. The fireballer allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Sam L was on the mound for Nordonia Green Knights 12U. The pitcher lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing ten hits and 12 runs while striking out two. Luke R and Nick Ientered the game as relief, throwing two-thirds of an inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Grant K, Adam R, Zack A, Brad T, and Luke each collected one hit to lead Nordonia Green Knights 12U.
Hudson tallied 15 hits. Grill and Salem each managed multiple hits for Hudson. Grill went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Hudson in hits. Hudson didn’t commit a single error in the field. Pallo had the most chances in the field with six.
