County Executive Ilene Shapiro, Mayors Migliorini, Nehez, Host Open For Business Discussion in Macedonia

On Friday, October 28, 2016, from 8 a.m.-10:00 a.m., Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro, along with City of Macedonia Mayor Joseph Migliorini and Village of Northfield Mayor Jessie Nehez in partnership with the Nordonia Hills Chamber of Commerce, will host an Open for Business discussion at the City of Macedonia Community Center Room, 9691 Valley View Road, Macedonia. The public is welcome, but reservations are needed.

The brainstorming session and information exchange will allow citizens and business owners to meet with public officials and participate in discussions about small business, economic development, new funding sources, new workforce programs, and new opportunities. There will also be booths with information on what county agencies and organizations can do to assist economic development in Macedonia, Sagamore Hills, Northfield, and Northfield Center.

“This is our third Open for Business session this fall where I have been able to meet with local leaders, business owners and citizens to open up discussions about job creation and educating and developing a strong workforce to help insure growth for our communities now and in the future,” stated Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro.
