Beginning July 1, 2022, Faith United Methodist Church in Twinsburg welcomes Pastor Josh Elliott to its leadership. Pastor Elliott is currently serving Streetsboro United Methodist Church and plans to share his time with Faith United Methodist Church. Pastor Elliott is the third generation in his family to become a United Methodist pastor and comes highly recommended by East Ohio Conference Bishop Tracy Malone and her cabinet.
Faith United Methodist Church says farewell to Rev. David A. E. Whitt
Rev. David A.E. Whitt, the current pastor since July 1, 2019, will be serving the Lakemore United Methodist Church in Springfield Township just south of Akron on July 1, 2022. Under the leadership of Rev. Whitt Faith has started a community meal and pantry with an outreach to an average of 150 persons per month supported by volunteers from the community and the local Church. Faith UMC is committed to this ministry and looks forward to expanding this in the near future.
