Fall Season: Nordonia Volleyball Suffers Defeat Against Wadsworth in Three Categories

On Thursday, the Nordonia volleyball team hosted Wadsworth High School at the Nordonia High School Large Gym in Macedonia, Ohio. The match commenced at 7 p.m. Unfortunately, Nordonia faced a substantial defeat against Wadsworth in all three categories: varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen. 

This loss was particularly significant for the Nordonia volleyball team, as it followed a previous double loss to the Twinsburg volleyball high school team.

In the varsity match, Wadsworth Volleyball secured a three-set victory with scores of 25-22, 25-27, and 25-7 at Nordonia. This victory extended Wadsworth’s undefeated streak to 4-0 in the suburban league and 7-0 overall.

The junior volleyball team also emerged victorious at Nordonia with scores of 25-25 and 25-23, elevating their record to 3-1 in the Suburban League and 6-1 overall.

The freshman volleyball team secured a three-set victory with scores of 10-25, 25-23, and 25-16 at Nordonia, bringing their record to 2-1 in the Suburban League and 4-3 overall.

Looking ahead, the Unknighted Varsity Volleyball team will seek to rebound as they face Hudson High School on the 11th, with the match scheduled to start at 7 p.m. The junior varsity match will begin at 6 p.m., and the freshman match is set for 5 p.m.
