Wadsworth scored three runs in the failed comeback on a passed ball during Kessler’s at bat in the fourth, a groundout by Crookston in the sixth, and a error in the sixth. Bats blistered as Nordonia Knights Varsity collected seven hits and Wadsworth tallied six in the high-scoring game. Wadsworth got things started in the first inning. Horrle’s sac fly scored one run for Wadsworth. Nordonia Knights Varsity pulled away for good with eight runs in the third inning. In the third a sacrifice bunt by Hallie Majoros scored one run for Nordonia Knights Varsity, Lexi Maciejowski doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, an error scored one run for Nordonia Knights Varsity, Jenn Willis singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Kayla Buck doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs, and #17’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Nordonia Knights Varsity. Majoros led things off on the hill for Nordonia Knights Varsity. She surrendered six runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out one. Keating started the game for Wadsworth. She allowed seven hits and eight runs over two and two-thirds innings, walking zero. #17 threw three and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Willis led Nordonia Knights Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Whitaker went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Wadsworth in hits.
