Jennies Gems: FOSTERS NEEDED

FOSTERS NEEDED I know a picture is worth a thousand words, but I dont have a picture of those needing fostering. Why? Because the rescuees are outside playing between someones garage and the street. The neighbor has kittens I can’t even find in the filth of the living room. There is another litter that was just born that was found in the garage. I got some of the adults fixed and am working on more. Need foster homes to be able to get a total of what will be 15 kittens. Some are ready now, some are still with the mother cat for a bit longer. I have 42 at my home and have a handful of fosters who have opened up their homes.
Shutting down last year caused great strife on the cat population. Vets closed, clinics closed, rescues were halted, more cats/kittens were born. I never stopped during the whole time. I found vets that were open and paid more just to be able to take in what I could rescue.
Do you have a room that does not have a human in it? Do you have a room that has a human that likes cats? It just takes opening up your heart. Sometimes doing the right thing is inconvenient. We all know as humans what the right things in life are. I hope this is one of yours.

I attached a picture of our Kit kat that started it all when we found her at 4 days old at my work. Her and her brother Charlie are together below laying on what was my mom’s chair in the kitchen. The picture behind them is my mom, Jennie, who my rescue is named for. The cats love sitting on her chair. They all take turns.
