A walk-off walk led Nordonia Knights 11U past MAF Gators 7-6 on Tuesday. The game was tied at six with Nordonia Knights 11U batting in the bottom of the seventh when Bo L drew a walk, scoring one run.
There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Nordonia Knights 11U collected eight hits and MAF Gators had seven.
MAF Gators got on the board in the first inning when Jacob M singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
MAF Gators scored three runs in the fourth inning. MAF Gators big bats were led by Troy Rand Ezra S, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Will B led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Nordonia Knights 11U. The pitcher allowed five hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.
Jacob toed the rubber for MAF Gators. The bulldog allowed five hits and four runs over four innings, striking out one. Joey C threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.
