Pet owners in Twinsburg, Hudson, Aurora and the Chagrin area have a new option for in-home pet care. Fetch! Pet Care of The Western Reserve celebrated its grand opening with a Hudson Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Thursday, Oct. 29.
The woman-owned business is led by Regina Alvarez. At 25, she already has more than 11 years of pet sitting experience.
The ribbon cutting took place in downtown Hudson in front of 3 Palms and Cold Stone Creamery. It was held ahead of the community’s Merchant Trick or Treat event, which began at 5 p.m.
From Family Favors to a Full Business
Alvarez is a Kent State University graduate with a degree in early childhood education. Her lifelong love of animals eventually became her career.
She started out caring for pets belonging to friends and family. Later, she gained experience working at a dog boarding and day care facility.
Alvarez also has four dogs of her own at home. That gives her a strong understanding of canine behavior and the individual needs of each animal.
“My goal is to give every pet owner peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are being treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own four dogs,” Alvarez said.
