Local Worship Band To Perform Free Concerts To Benefit Emergency Assistance Center

The Life in Praise worship band has been providing worship music in the Nordonia Hills area for over a quarter of a century. The group originated at St. Barnabas Church in Northfield, OH and has members ranging in age from 10 to 86.

This year, the group will perform two free Christmas concerts for the community. The concerts will feature traditional and contemporary faith-based Christmas songs, as well as an audience sing-a-long. Our Lady of Guadalupe in Macedonia will host on December 20 and the United Methodist Church of Macedonia will host on December 21. Both concerts will start at 7 pm and each church will offer refreshments at the concert’s conclusion. There is no charge, but the group will be collecting free will offerings to donate to The Emergency Assistance Center in Northfield. All are welcome.

Life in Praise’s goal is to join with the community in prayer and praise through music. Full instrumentation varies but usually includes guitar, bass, cello, banjo, mandolin, keys and drums. Music leans toward contemporary, but includes traditional hymns and whatever stirs the soul.
