            MACEDONIA, OHIO – The City of Macedonia has announced that Kristine Bissler – KB Group of ReMax Traditions has signed on to become the Presenting Sponsor for the City’s special drive-in Fourth of July Fireworks show.

The event will be held on the grounds outside of the Macedonia Family Recreation Center on Saturday evening, July 4th with a back-up rain date of Sunday, July 5th. The show will begin at 9:45 p.m.

As presenting sponsor for the fireworks show, Kristine Bissler – KB Group of ReMax Traditions said her organization was more than excited to participate in a community event that not only celebrates America’s independence, but enables families to venture out for a brief time and enjoy some great outdoor entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the City of Macedonia to help underwrite the cost of this year’s fireworks show, and hope it brings some much-needed cheer to residents from here and surrounding communities,” Bissler commented.

To kick off the upcoming Fourth of July celebrations, KB Group of ReMax Traditions has launched a community-wide fundraiser and prize drawing to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (COVID-19 Relief Fund at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital), which will give one lucky Grand Prize winner and a guest an opportunity to become crew members for the day aboard the famous ReMax hot air balloon (flight date and time dependent on the weather). Other prizes include gift baskets and gift cards to area restaurants and businesses.

There are several ways to enter the prize drawing, including:

  • Uploading a photo of your best selfie or fireworks shot from the July 4th event to your Facebook page and tagging @KBSellsOhioHomes and three friends;

The contest runs through July 11th, and winners will be announced on July 15th.

Macedonia’s fireworks program will be a drive-in format that will comply with CDC and State of Ohio health and safety guidelines. All guests attending the show are encouraged to remain in or near their vehicles for the duration of the program and practice responsible social distancing.

The City expects a large turnout for the event and recommends arriving early to secure a parking spot.  The lot will open at 7:00 p.m. For the safety of all staff and guests, grilling, yard games and other traditional tailgating activities will not be permitted. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, to be consumed inside the vehicle (alcoholic beverages are prohibited).  There will be no food vendors at the event.
